 Participated to the training  course on "Remote Sensing" organised by the  FAO in Kaş/ANTALYA (16 October-5 December 1988).
2. 1992-1995,  Engineer, Silviculture Department of Antalya Reginol Directorate
3.1995 - 2000 Forest Researcher, South-West Anatolia Forest Research Instıtute in Antalya, TURKEY.
4. 2001-2005 head of Forest Ecology and soil division of South-West Anatolia Forest Research Instıtute in Antalya, TURKEY.
5. 2005- Now deputy director of South-West Anatolia Forest Research Instıtute in Antalya, TURKEY.

CURRICULUM VITAE
Melahat ŞAHİN is forest engineer, graduated from Istanbul University, Forestry Faculty in 1986. Her master degree is on silviculture and reforestration She has worked as a Aerial photograph  interpretor at Mapping and Photogrameter Directorate of General Directorate of Forestry from 1988 to 1992, in ANKARA She has worked as a forest engineer at Silviculture Department of Antalya Reginol Directorate from 1992 to 1995. From 1995 to 2001 She has been working as a researcher in silviculture section of Southwest Anatolian Forest Research Institute. 2001-2005 She has been head of Forest Ecology and soil division of the Instıtute From 2005 up to now She is working as a deputy director of the Instıtute
